About Lomcore

Flooded Implosion / Volcanic Eruption contains 5 songs by Jesus Lomeli (Lomcore)

All the songs included were recorded in LOMCORE’s home studio with the idea of only using what was available in his house and not using anyfancyequipment, only a computer, a DAW, a midi controller and an electric guitar in the first track.

Dont you think? Is a song about what happens after a
breakup and how there are still things to be said, but in
reality they dont talk to each other anymore. It is a dive
in to the thoughts and assuptions they have but never
clarify.

«Don’t you think?» was written and composed in 2003 by
Jesus Lomeli (Lomcore). A Lomcore solo piano versión
was recorded, but Mariana Rios (Mar Rios) made guitar
arrangements to the song and gave it a different sound.
Adding her vocals made the song come from a person’s
point of view to a “dialogue” about what both characters were
thinking. The new versión with Mar Rios was recorded
on September 2020.

Fucked up my day” and “Where did I lose control” are songs recorded for the first time in 2009, but the new versions were done in 2021.

“Time waits for no onewas recorded as a demo in 2003 as an instrumental track, but lyrics were added in 2017 and recorded in 2021.

“ I knowis a new song that was written and composed in 2021.

The art of the album is a painting by Vania Rios.
